Please join us on Sunday, October 14 at 2 PM at the Lyon Park Community Center in Durham for Dark Testament Oracle: Sermonizing and Poetics in the Tradition of Pauli Murray Featuring Sangodare and Alexis Pauline Gumbs.

In celebration of the republication of Pauli Murray’s book Dark Testament and other poems, a poetic work about identity, democracy, and possibility, with a new introduction by Elizabeth Alexander.

This event will highlight Black trans and gender fluid/non-binary/non-conforming visionaries and other community members committed to the transformation that Pauli Murray’s poetic life makes possible.
