July 1 Celebration of Pauli Murray’s Life
A wonderful service in honor of the Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray was held on July 1, 2010 – the 25th anniversary of her death – at St. Titus Episcopal Church, North Carolina. Bishop Michael Curry from the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina presided.

Three members of the Pauli Murray Steering Committee — Charmaine McKissick-Melton, Rev. Dwyian N. Davis and Mary McClintock-Fulkerson — read from Pauli Murray’s writings and offered remarks. The theme of the service was social justice.
